Quickstart Guide

In this guide, we'll create a new project and publish a working waitlist page you can share or embed. You'll have a live signup flow in about 10 minutes—no custom backend required.

Prerequisites

  • A WaitlistPilot account (you can sign up for free).
  • Access to a terminal or code editor.

1. Create a Project

First, you need a container for your waitlist.

  1. Log in to your Dashboard.
  2. Click "New Project".
  3. Give it a name (e.g., "My Awesome Beta") and a subdomain.
  4. Click "Create Project".

2. Share Your Hosted Page

Every project has a hosted page on your chosen subdomain or custom domain. Open the project and copy the public link from the header.

Share that link anywhere you promote your launch. Visitors can join the waitlist immediately and receive their referral link.

3. Embed on Your Site

Prefer to keep users on your domain? Embed the waitlist form on any page with a few lines of HTML. The embed handles validation, queue position, and referral codes automatically.
