WaitlistPilot is a comprehensive platform for managing pre-launch waitlists, referral programs, and audience building. It provides a hosted dashboard, embeddable forms, and webhooks so you can launch quickly without maintaining your own backend.
What is WaitlistPilot?
At its heart, WaitlistPilot handles the complex logic of queuing, email verification, and referral tracking so you can focus on building your product. Instead of building your own database tables for signups, setting up transactional emails, and writing referral algorithms, you can drop in our hosted experience or embed the form on your site.
We offer two main ways to use the platform:
- Hosted Pages: Use our beautiful, pre-built templates hosted on our domain or your custom domain.
- Embeds & Webhooks: Embed the waitlist form on your existing site and receive real-time events via webhooks.
Core Concepts
Workspaces
Your top-level account container. It holds your billing settings and global configuration. Currently, each user has one personal workspace.
Projects
Individual campaigns or product launches. Each project has its own waitlist, settings, and webhook configuration. You can run multiple projects (e.g., "iOS App Beta" and "Android App Alpha") within the same workspace.
Signups & Referrals
A Signup represents a single user on a specific project's waitlist. When a user signs up, they receive a unique referralCode.
If they share this code and another user signs up using it, we automatically track the referral, update the referrer's count, and adjust their queue position based on your project's rules.
